How many kids do you have and how old are they? 3 children, ages 10, 2 and 10 months old

Do they have a favorite exercise to do with you? my 2 yr old likes to do pushups, lol and my 10 yr old like burpees

Do they have any favorite healthy foods? asparagus and brussels sprouts.

Do you have any tricks to get your kids to eat healthier foods or make healthier choices? My kids all love fruits and veggies, but to get veggies sometimes we juice our fruit with some vegetables.

As you have learned more about health and wellness, what goals do you have for your family and children?To make better choices about food when we are not eating at home for example when we go out to eat or are traveling.

What obstacles have you overcome as a mother to maintain your health and wellness? Being busy and constantly on the run, making poor eating choices was the easy way out, everything that is bad for you is cheap and fast, we have learned to plan our meals ahead of time so that we can eat healthier fresh food.

How and why has being a member at Eupraxia impacted your roll as a mother and/or wife? I have tons more energy to play with my kids I find physical activity fun now , before I wouldn’t dare break a sweat for anything. I feel better about myself and I’m happier!

Dr. Steve says to have a purpose for staying healthy. How do you make your children a part of this purpose?They are the reason I get up every morning to go to the gym, and make better eating choices. I want to be active with them and live a long life so I can be here for them as long as possible.

How have you passed on what you have learned at Eupraxia to your children? I show them new exercises that I learned and my 10 yr old does them with me sometimes, or we have push up contest- anything where we compete she likes. Also sharing healthy recipes and cooking together.

What advice do you have for moms just starting their journey? Keep going no matter how sore you are, it will pass. There have been many times where I have been working out and saying to myself “I should have stayed in bed, Why am I here I’m tired and this is hard!” but hard work gets results and man does it feel good after you have a really good work out, I just feel 110% better about myself after going.

Anything else you would like to share? I am so happy that a place like Eupraxia exist, I have never worked out a day in my life before going here, it is now apart of my everyday routine and I can’t imagine my life without it. I am happier, healthier, and I look and feel that best I have in years, I am wearing the same size clothes as I did before I had kids! Thank you Eupraxia!
